Amazon also updated the Alexa app to offer light and dark modes, as well as text scaling. It rolled out a new option to give people more time to finish speaking before Alexa gives a response, which it said is designed to help people with certain speech impediments. The company also included cards with braille text in the boxes for the Echo Frames 2nd gen, guiding users to a website with screen-reader-friendly setup instructions. On the Kindle app for iOS, Amazon launched a dictionary audio feature to read out individual selected words and help those with learning disabilities or foreign language speakers better understand pronunciations.
Led Apple Facebook Update
Apple Inc. debuted a national advertising campaign on data privacy last week, a day after Facebook parent company Meta Platforms Inc. shared a quarterly update on how it has ratcheted up security for its members.
Nothing particularly, unless you hold Meta stock. Apple's ATT has been available for download for a year as part of iOS 14.5, and if you've already updated to iOS 15, you've been using it for quite a while. The main issue may be seeing ads that aren't all that relevant to your interests. But if you favor privacy, that may be a good thing.
While consumers want privacy, security, and control over their data, marketers have concerns about how the update will impact various media channels. Apple has taken steps in iOS 14.5 to give their product users the tools to protect their personal information. iOS 14.5 was released at the end of April 2021. Apple expected the full rollout/large-scale adoption by mid-June, with stragglers adopting late June and July. As of this writing iOS 14.6 is out with a few upgrades, patches, and bug fixes.

The last quarter of 2022 was busy at Meta. The company launched new Reels and Groups features, an updated ad interface, important brand safety updates, and so much more. Marketers and advertisers are heading into 2023 with more automation, powerful new capabilities, and a streamlined experience across Meta platforms.
One of the first updates is a feature currently being tested that will allow customers to request a callback from a business in Messenger. Using it will help businesses show customers that their time is valued and eliminate the frustration of waiting on hold.

Facebook is putting enormous time and financial investments into new tech like automation for business, with the goal of simplifying digital management. Their Business Suite is in the process of rolling out some significant updates in line with that goal.
This update is likely to impact custom audiences from site and app activity, and Facebook has acknowledged that it may impact the accuracy of both tracking and ad optimization. While this will only be true for mobile iOS users and their activity in-app, this may still have a wide-reaching impact. You can learn more about how to prepare here.
March of 2021 was another exceptional month for Facebook updates, giving us three great new changes: more IGTV ad expansions, additional brand safety controls, and online courses for community managers were all released.
They spoke out about the iOS update vehemently at the beginning, saying it would have a harmful effect on small businesses who relied on Facebook advertising and the free internet. They said it was about profit, not privacy, forcing businesses to turn to subscriptions and in-app payments for revenue while free services will have to start charging to stay on the market.
This was another great update we were excited for. Businesses and creators can set minimum ages that determine who sees their branded content on Instagram. They can rely on a default minimum age, a minimum age for specific countries, or a custom combination of the two.
October was a big, substantial month for both Facebook and Instagram updates. Here, we had an expansion of badges in Instagram live for creators, the new Messenger API supporting Instagram, a collaboration manager update for Groups, and a new community management certification.
Personally, we were greatly excited about this; a large number of small brands and large corporations alike use social media management software to boost response times and customer satisfaction; this update makes that easier than ever before.

In 2021, according to the document, an Instagram employee ran an internal investigation on eating disorders by opening a false account as a 13-year-old girl looking for diet tips. She was led to graphic content and recommendations to follow accounts titled "skinny binge" and "apple core anorexic."

Facebook survived a fairly quiet summer in 2018 before news broke in September that attackers exploited a vulnerability and obtained access tokens for what was first thought to be as many as 50 million accounts. Two weeks later, in October, Facebook updated its findings to clarify that the number of affected users was actually approximately 30 million accounts, and the attackers gained access to data that included contact details, locations, birthdates and search histories. The breach was suspected to be the work of spammers and not nation-state actors.

According to the Facebook post, Turing ended his own life in 1954 by eating an apple laced with cyanide poison, purportedly a final act carried out by the computer scientist after the way he was treated by the British government for being gay. The post also said that Turing saved millions of lives during World War II and even served as the inspiration for the Apple logo. We found that most of the claims in the post were true, for reasons we'll outline below.
This is Alan. Alan ended his own life on 7th June 1954. He laced an apple with cyanide and ate a bite from it. He did this because the British government chemically castrated, humiliated and prosecuted him for being gay.
Police-Sergeant Cottreil said he saw Dr. Turing lying in bed with the clothes pulled up toward his chest. There was a white frothy liquid about the mouth with a faint smell of bitter almonds. On a table at the side of the bed was half an apple from which several bites had been taken.
Dr. C. A. K. Bird, a pathologist, said that Turing's death was caused by asphyxia due to cyanide poisoning. A man of Dr. Turing's knowledge could not have swallowed it without knowing what would happen, and Dr. Bird did not think it could have been accidental. He thought the apple was used to take away some of the taste. 2ff7e9595c
